What, exactly, does the SMART TELLER II do?
SMART TELLER II
- strips and digitizes the data from documents,
- captures the data,
- allows keyboard input of missing data including the
individual document amounts,
- reconciles the financial data,
- prevents data from proceeding until an accurate
reconciliation is provided,
- sends all the data to the server to post by account
number,
- archives the data, and
- makes the data available to generate automatic MICR
printing and automatic amount imaging with the
server software acting as the traffic cop
With SMART TELLER II, the core activity in driving
accuracy and reducing cost through the bank document processing system is
handled at the teller station.
This computerized device with 22-key numeric and data
keypad with display integrates with a magnetic read-only reader. SMART
TELLER II comes in a hard-wired or wireless data transmission version.
The SMART TELLER II system is designed to use an
absolute minimum number of teller keystrokes (from 55 to 10), and a maximum
number of MICR line based "tickets". Ticket use and MICR reading are the
foundation for accuracy.
SMART TELLER II, with computer-aided resolution of
exceptions, eliminates the need for manual proof / encode. |
